I grew up in the area that we service where I spent my youth at the lake swimming and enjoying cottage life.
I have spent over 30 years working on the oil rigs around the world and now apply daily the management and logistics skills I’ve learned supervising drilling operations to organizing, planning and overseeing all aspects of the rental process. Sandy & I have gained invaluable experience from managing our own rental, which has lead us to our present business of managing cottage rentals. We realized that there are many people who already rent their cottages but find it difficult to clean, inspect and prepare for the next paying guests and deal with any issues from a long distance away. Together with family & friends we launched Severn Cottage Services Inc. to provide a local, professional & reliable cottage rental management service that assists property owners and people wishing to rent a cottage.

I grew up on a farm in Wellesley Ontario. My Parents (Ada & Willard Roth) purchased the Severn Falls Motel in 1981 and ran the business until 2007. This is how I ended up in beautiful Cottage Country living on the water. I have spent over 20 years in the restaurant business working my way up to a management position. My experience gained in a managerial position and people skills has proven beneficial to organizing, booking and supervising our own cottage rental. I have transferred the knowledge I’ve gained renting our own cottage along with my management skills to providing you with a superior service dedicated to detail and commitment assisting both renters and owners.
